Role & responsibilities

Accounting and Financial Closing

• Prepare and record daily and monthly accounting entries for accruals, prepayments, rent expenses, asset capitalization, and write-offs.
• Perform month-end financial closing activities for assigned entities.
• Reconcile accounting system balances with the financial ledger and resolve any differences.
• Ensure all accounting entries and financial records are accurate and completed on time.

3. Financial Reporting and Audit Support

• Provide accurate and timely financial data to the Reporting team.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required information and documents.
• Respond to queries from auditors, regulators, and other internal teams.
• Identify and escalate accounting issues to the team manager.

4. Process Improvement and System Support

• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and workflows.
• Support system upgrades, enhancements, and changes in reporting requirements.
• Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system changes and assist with resolving issues after implementation.
• Maintain process documents and update operating procedures when required.
• Support cross-training and provide backup for team members when needed.
