Role Description This is a full-time, remote role for a Software Engineer at Fude Developments. The Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain web, mobile, and AI-driven applications, with a focus on reliable and scalable backend services. Responsibilities include collaborating with product and design teams to refine requirements, implementing clean and efficient code, writing automated tests, and participating in code reviews. The role also involves debugging and optimizing existing features, integrating third-party APIs, and contributing to architectural decisions for new systems. The Software Engineer will continuously learn new tools and frameworks to support AI-powered applications, learning platforms, and smart management solutions.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
- Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience in at least one modern language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C#, or similar).
- Hands-on experience with Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and their application in designing scalable, maintainable systems.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Ability to write clean, testable code and familiarity with unit or integration testing practices.
- Comfort working in a remote, distributed team environment with effective communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Nice to have: Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), AI/ML frameworks, or mobile/Android development.
