Accounts and Finance Manager

Full-time | 7-8 years | CA / semi-qualified CA / M.Com | Mumbai / Delhi | Reports to Head of Finance

Craa is half a million homes in and heading for 30-40 million. You will lead daily accounts operations and guide the team to accurate month-end numbers.

What you will own

1. The Team

Lead daily accounts operations under the Head of Finance: allocate work, review juniors and resolve accounting issues. Coach the team to find and fix unexplained differences themselves.

2. The Ledger

Own the general ledger, monthly closures and schedules. Review revenue, expenses, assets, liabilities, provisions and accruals, plus receivables, payables and bank reconciliations. Keep books audit-ready.

3. The Stock

SKU-wise inventory across warehouses, job workers, marketplaces and ERP. Reconcile physical vs system stock and investigate purchase, sale, return, transfer, assembly and adjustment variances. Review goods in

transit, damage, returns, write-offs, valuation, landed cost and ageing.

4. The Marketplaces

Reconcile marketplace sales, ERP, ledgers and receipts; oversee commissions, deductions, claims and receivables. Work with vendors and with procurement, warehouse, ops and sales to resolve stock and

settlement issues.

5. The Controls

Review GST and TDS workings; coordinate statutory audits and close observations. Build accounting SOPs and controls, improve ERP reporting and automate repetitive reconciliations.

6. The MIS

Monthly MIS on revenue, costs, margins and key operating metrics. Budget variances, SKU and channel performance, and receivables, payables and inventory ageing for working-capital and cash planning.

What you bring

• 7-8 years of experience owning accounting operations and supervising a small team
• CA, semi-qualified CA or M.Com
• Hands-on inventory accounting and stock reconciliation experience is essential
• Strong grasp of accounting, monthly closure, GST, TDS, financial reporting and internal controls
• Confident with Tally Prime, ERPNext and advanced Excel
• You coach colleagues and resolve unexplained differences
• Candidate from E-Commerce Background or Startup will be preferred.
