Account Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Handle banking activities and bank liaisoning, including bank reconciliation and transaction coordination.
• Prepare and review bank reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, and account statements.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including vendor and customer reconciliations.
• Monitor receipts, payments, expenses, and outstanding balances.
• Prepare monthly and periodic MIS reports for management.
• Assist in preparation of budgets, cash-flow statements, and financial projections.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and provide required documents and information.
• Ensure timely completion of accounting and financial closing activities.
• Monitor statutory accounting requirements and coordinate for timely compliance with applicable GST, TDS and other statutory requirements.
• Verify invoices, bills, vouchers, purchase documents, and supporting records.
• Maintain proper documentation and accounting records as per company policies.
• Coordinate with Project, Purchase, Sales, CRM, and other departments regarding financial and accounting matters.
• Track project-related expenses and assist in monitoring project-wise financial information.
• Identify discrepancies in accounts and ensure timely resolution.
• Support management in financial analysis and decision-making through accurate reports.
• Ensure adherence to internal financial controls and accounting procedures.
