Account Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Executive to manage Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), daily accounting operations, bank reconciliations, vendor payments, customer collections, and financial documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Prepare and process customer invoices, credit notes, and debit notes.
• Follow up with customers for outstanding payments and collections.
• Maintain customer ledgers and receivables ageing reports.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Record receipts and allocate payments against invoices.

Accounts Payable (AP)

• Verify, process, and record vendor and supplier invoices.
• Check invoices against purchase orders and supporting documents.
• Maintain vendor ledgers and payable ageing reports.
• Process vendor payments as per agreed payment terms.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.

General Accounting

• Perform bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
• Pass journal entries and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Handle GST and TDS-related documentation and support compliance.
• Assist with month-end closing and preparation of MIS reports.
• Coordinate with auditors and provide supporting documents when required.
• Maintain proper records of invoices, payments, receipts, and expenses.

Required Skills

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally Prime, SAP, or ERP systems.
• Good knowledge of GST, TDS, and bank reconciliation.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
