Account Executive

Job Description:

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Account Executive with knowledge of South African accounting practices. The candidate should have experience in the manufacturing industry and be capable of handling daily bookkeeping, inter-company transactions, forex accounting, and account finalisation activities. Experience in Tally ERP is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily bookkeeping and accounting entries.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Record and reconcile inter-company transactions.
• Perform bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation regularly.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Handle forex accounting and foreign currency transactions.
• Assist in month-end and year-end account finalization.
• Prepare financial reports, MIS reports, and account statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors when required.

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of South African accounting practices.
• Experience in manufacturing industry accounting is mandatory.
• Good understanding of inter-company accounting and reconciliation.
• Knowledge of forex accounting and foreign exchange transactions.
• Experience in account finalization work.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP is mandatory.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting reports.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.

Qualification

• B.com, M.com, MBA- Finance
• Additional accounting certifications will be an added advantage. Preferred Candidate Profile
• Candidate with manufacturing industry experience preferred.
