Account Executive

Role & responsibilities

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting activities, maintain financial records, and support the Accounts & Finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
• Handle sales, purchase, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
• Prepare and maintain invoices, bills, vouchers, and other accounting documents.
• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Perform cash and Bank Reconciliation Statement (B.R.S).
• Monitor outstanding customer payments and follow up when required.
• Verify purchase bills and supporting documents.
• Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance activities.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
• Assist in preparing monthly reports and account statements.
• Coordinate with internal departments, customers, vendors, and auditors when required.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure accuracy and timely completion of accounting entries.
• Perform other accounting-related tasks assigned by the reporting manager.
  
  

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of basic accounting principles.
• Working knowledge of Tally/ERP accounting software.
• Knowledge of GST and TDS.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel & MIS Reports.
• Good numerical and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
