Account Executive

Role & responsibilities

Maintain day-to-day books of accounts purchase, sales, journal, and bank entries

• Prepare and process sales invoices, purchase bills, and e-way bills
• Handle GST return filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), TDS deduction and returns, and other statutory filings
• Perform bank reconciliation, vendor reconciliation, and ledger scrutiny on a regular basis
• Track accounts payable and receivable, and follow up on outstanding payments/collections
• Assist in preparation of monthly MIS reports, cash flow statements, and expense summaries
• Coordinate with the factory/stores team for stock and inventory-related accounting entries
• Support internal and statutory audits by preparing required schedules and documentation
• Manage petty cash, employee reimbursements, and vendor payment processing
• Ensure timely and accurate record-keeping in Tally/ERP and maintain proper filing of accounting documents
• Manage store/inventory records stock inward-outward entries, stock registers, and periodic stock reconciliation

Preferred candidate profile

• B.Com / M.Com or equivalent degree in Accounting/Finance
• 24 years of experience in accounts, preferably in a manufacturing/factory environment
• Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements
• Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime and MS Excel
• Good numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet monthly/quarterly filing deadlines
• Fluency in Hindi and English; local Bihar/Patna candidates preferred

• Monthly salary: 25,000 – 30,000 (based on experience)
