About this role
Role & responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day books of accounts (purchase, sales, journal, bank entries) in Tally
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and trial balances
- Assist in GST return filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9) and TDS return filing
- Support in preparation of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet)
- Assist with statutory and tax audits under senior guidance
- Handle basic income tax return (ITR) filings for individuals and businesses
- Coordinate with clients for data collection, documentation, and follow-ups
- Maintain accurate filing and documentation of vouchers, invoices, and records
- Support senior accountants/CAs in day-to-day client deliverables
- Support the senior in various audits.
Preferred candidate profile
B.Com / M.Com / semi-qualified CA / CA Inter
