Account Executive

Role & responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records and bookkeeping.
• Pass accounting entries and maintain ledgers, vouchers and supporting documents.
• Handle GST compliance including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, reconciliation and basic GST workings.
• Bank reconciliation and reconciliation of debtors/creditors.
• Assist in preparation and finalisation of financial statements.
• Work on Tally Prime/ERP and MS Excel.
• Assist in preparation of data for Income Tax Returns, Tax Audit and other statutory compliances.
• Coordinate with clients for collection of accounting, GST, TDS and other financial information.
• Identify accounting discrepancies and resolve reconciliation issues.
• Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and compliance purposes.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned accounting and taxation work.
• Coordinate with senior accountants, CAs and the client servicing team.

Preferred candidate profile

• Qualification: B.Com/M.Com; CA Inter/CA Final candidates will be preferred.
• Experience: 15 years in accounting, taxation or CA firm environment.
• Good practical knowledge of Tally Prime/ERP and MS Excel.
• Working knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax and basic accounting principles.
• Experience in handling multiple clients will be an advantage.
• Good communication and client-handling skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet compliance deadlines.
• Candidates with experience in a CA firm, tax consultancy or accounting outsourcing firm will be preferred.
