Account Executive (Mid/Senior Level)

Role Overview

The role involves handling day-to-day accounting activities, reconciliations, statutory compliances, and coordination with the plant accounts team. The position will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records and supporting various audits and banking requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle weekly sales and receipt accounting in Tally Prime.
• Perform batch-wise inventory accounting and verification.
• Conduct debtor and inter-company reconciliations.
• Reconcile payroll with payroll and retainer registers.
• Prepare the monthly Drawing Power (DP) Statement for bankers.
• Independently handle TDS computation, payment, and quarterly return filing.
• Manage ESIC and LWF payments and statutory filings.
• Coordinate with the plant accounts team on TDS, inventory, and accounting-related matters.
• Provide support for statutory, tax, GST, and cost audits.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure timely completion of accounting and compliance activities.
• Perform large-data reconciliations and analysis using MS Excel.

Key Requirements

• Hands-on experience in Tally Prime, including inventory and batch-wise accounting.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment or multi-entity/group company.
• Experience working with or coordinating with plant accounts teams from a head-office environment will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of TDS computation, payment, and quarterly return filing.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel, particularly for large-data reconciliation.
• Strong understanding of accounting, reconciliation, statutory compliance, and audit processes.
