Accounts Assistant Job Description

• Handle complete accounting and finance operations independently.
• Manage GST compliance, including GST calculation, reconciliation, returns, and related documentation.
• Prepare and file GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and other applicable GST returns.
• Handle TDS calculation, deductions, payments, reconciliation, and TDS filing.
• Prepare and file Income Tax Returns (ITR) for the company/business.
• Maintain books of accounts, ledgers, vouchers, and financial records.
• Perform bank reconciliation, vendor/customer reconciliation, and regular account closing.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly financial reports and MIS.
• Ensure timely statutory compliance and maintain proper supporting documents.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, vendors, and government departments when required.
• Handle all accounting activities independently from day-to-day bookkeeping through statutory compliance and final reporting.
• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and ensure accuracy of financial records.
