We are looking for dynamic and student-focused Academic Counsellors to guide aspiring students through their overseas education journey. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and counselling skills, be detail-oriented, and be passionate about helping students achieve their study abroad goals. Freshers with strong interpersonal skills are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities
- Counsel students on study abroad opportunities, universities, courses and career pathways.
- Guide students through the admission, application, visa and scholarship processes.
- Assist with documentation, including SOPs, LORs, resumes and financial documents.
- Advise students on scholarship opportunities, eligibility and application requirements.
- Coordinate with students, universities and internal teams to ensure timely application processing.
- Maintain accurate student records and follow up on pending documents and payments.
- Participate in education fairs, seminars and other student engagement activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with students and partner institutions.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and counselling skills.
- Strong organisational and documentation abilities.
- Customer-focused with good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a target-driven environment.
- Knowledge of overseas education, university admissions and scholarships is an added advantage.
Qualification Experience
- Bachelors degree in any discipline.
- Freshers and candidates with up to 1 year of experience can apply.
- Experience in overseas education, admissions, counselling, EdTech or customer counselling will be preferred.
- Female candidates are preferred.
