Job Summary

i2global Virtual Learning Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Academic Counsellor to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 1–3 years of experience in academic counselling, education sales, admissions, or a related field.

The candidate will be responsible for counselling prospective students, understanding their academic and career goals, recommending suitable programs, and converting enquiries into admissions.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel students and working professionals regarding academic programs, courses, and career opportunities.
• Understand the student's educational background, career aspirations, and learning requirements.
• Provide accurate information about courses, eligibility, fees, admission process, and program benefits.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls, leads, and enquiries through various channels.
• Follow up with prospective students regularly and guide them through the admission process.
• Maintain strong relationships with prospective students and ensure a smooth counselling experience.
• Achieve assigned monthly admission/enrolment targets.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and conversions in CRM.
• Coordinate with the academic and admission teams to resolve student queries.
• Stay updated on available programs, admission policies, and industry trends.
• Provide post-counselling support wherever required.

• Target-oriented and self-motivated approach.
• Comfortable with calling, follow-ups, and lead conversion.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools.
• Ability to build rapport with students and parents.
• Good English communication skills; knowledge of additional regional languages is an advantage.

Eligibility

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in academic counselling, educational sales, admissions, inside sales, or a similar role.
• Candidates from the EdTech / Education / Higher Education / Online Learning industry will be preferred.
