Academic Counsellor

Role & responsibilities :

• Evaluate student assignments accurately and submit marksheets within specified deadlines.
  
• Conduct counseling sessions for students regarding academic progress and curriculum related queries.
  
• Evaluate assignments on-site at the Study Centre.
  
• Maintain complete confidentiality, fairness, and integrity throughout the evaluation process.
  
• Submit all relevant evaluation reports and documentation to the Study Centre as per guidelines.
  

Preferred candidate profile :

• Academic Background: Masters degree in Public Administration, Library and Information Science, Philosophy, History, Sociology, or Mathematics from a recognized University. Candidates with a Ph.D., NET/SET qualification, or M.Phil. in the relevant subject will be given strong preference.

Professional Experience: Prior experience working as an IGNOU Academic Counsellor or evaluator within the open and distance learning (ODL) system is highly desirable.
