Academic Counsellor

We are looking for an Admission Counsellor to join the admissions team for our specialised Capital Markets program. This is a B2C consultative sales role where you will engage with working professionals who are exploring opportunities to build or advance their careers in capital markets. You will be responsible for understanding prospective students' career goals, counselling them on the program, addressing their concerns, managing follow-ups, and converting qualified prospects into enrolled students. The ideal candidate should be confident, target-oriented, persuasive, and comfortable handling conversations with working professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Connect with prospective students and understand their career goals, professional background, and learning requirements.
• Counsel working professionals on the relevance and benefits of the Capital Markets program.
• Conduct online/offline consultations and product presentations.
• Clearly communicate the program structure, curriculum, learning experience, and career relevance.
• Build strong relationships with prospective students throughout the admissions journey.
• Handle objections related to program value, fees, career outcomes, time commitment, and competition.
• Negotiate and close admissions while maintaining a high-quality candidate experience.
• Manage leads and prospects throughout the complete sales cycle.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and ensure timely follow-ups.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in EdTech, Higher Education, Executive Education, FinTech, BFSI, or premium B2C sales will be preferred.
• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
• Experience selling to working professionals is highly preferred.
• Strong consultative selling and objection-handling skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
