Role Description The Academic Counsellor is a full-time, on-site role based in Kozhikode. The person in this position will guide students and guardians on course selections, exam preparation plans, and effective use of the Xylem Learning App's resources. Daily responsibilities include conducting one-on-one and group counseling sessions, explaining academic pathways for NEET UG and related fields, and helping learners set realistic study goals. The Academic Counsellor will respond to student queries, track progress, provide feedback, and collaborate with teaching and support teams to improve learner outcomes. The role also involves maintaining accurate records of counseling sessions, participating in outreach or orientation programs, and contributing to initiatives that enhance student engagement and satisfaction.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Student Counseling and Academic Advising skills to support learners in their exam preparation journey.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and internal teams.
• Candidates should possess Career Counseling and Education-related knowledge to guide learners on academic and professional pathways after NEET UG.
• Relevant experience in academic counseling, coaching, or educational services, preferably in entrance exam preparation, is beneficial.
• A bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is preferred; additional certifications in counseling are an advantage.
• Ability to work with diverse student backgrounds, maintain confidentiality, and use basic digital tools or educational platforms effectively.
