Academic Counsellor (Medharthi)

What youll do:

• Engage with prospective students via calls, emails, and chats to counsel them on programs from IITs, IIMs, and other leading institutions.

• Understand students’ academic/professional backgrounds, aspirations, and challenges to provide tailored recommendations.

• Drive conversions by building trust, resolving queries, and handling objections effectively.

• Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to align sales efforts with campaigns.

• Consistently achieve and exceed weekly/monthly sales targets.

• Maintain detailed lead interactions and reports in CRM systems.

• Stay updated on new programs, industry trends, and competitor offerings.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.

• 2–4 years of proven experience in hardcore inside sales (EdTech experience preferred).

• Strong consultative selling and counselling skills with a customer-first approach.

• Excellent communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to handle high lead volumes and drive closures independently.

• Result-oriented, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Familiarity with CRM tools and sales software is an advantage.
