AC Technician / HVAC Technician

Job Summary

Modcon Group is hiring 6 skilled and safety-conscious AC Technicians. The ideal candidates will be responsible for installation, routine servicing, fault diagnosis, and repair of residential and commercial air conditioning systems (Split, Window, Cassette, and VRV/VRF units).

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair various cooling equipment, including Split, Window, Inverter, Cassette, and VRV/VRF systems.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance, filter cleaning, coil servicing, and chemical washes.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, including compressor issues, PCB faults, fan motors, and thermostat malfunctions.
• Conduct gas charging, leak detection, vacuuming, and pressure testing using proper HVAC gauges and tools.
• Inspect electrical wiring, relays, capacitors, and safety controls to ensure proper operating standards.
• Respond to customer service calls and complete work orders promptly while maintaining service logs.
• Follow all on-site safety protocols and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Key Requirements & Skills

• Education: ITI / Diploma in RAC (Refrigeration & Air Conditioning) or equivalent vocational training.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of on-ground hands-on experience in AC repair and maintenance.
• Technical Skills:
  
• Proficiency with brazing/welding equipment, vacuum pumps, manifold gauges, and multimeters.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for both cooling and electrical circuits.
• Other Requirements:
  
• Valid two-wheeler driving license and personal vehicle (preferred for field roles).
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
