Role: ABBYY Vantage / Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) Specialist

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced ABBYY Vantage Developer to design, configure, and implement intelligent document processing solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with OCR, document classification, data extraction, validation workflows, and enterprise application integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and configure ABBYY Vantage Document Skills, Process Skills, and Splitter Skills.
• Implement document classification, OCR, data extraction, validation, and verification workflows.
• Train and optimise document extraction models to improve accuracy and processing efficiency.
• Configure business rules, field mappings, confidence thresholds, and exception-handling processes.
• Integrate ABBYY Vantage with ERP systems, databases, REST APIs, and RPA platforms.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, deployment, and production support.
• Troubleshoot document-processing issues and continuously improve solution performance.
• Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Required Skills

• 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in ABBYY Vantage, IDP, OCR, or document automation.
• Strong hands-on experience building and configuring ABBYY Vantage skills and workflows.
• Good understanding of document classification, data extraction, validation, and verification.
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and enterprise application integrations.
• Knowledge of JavaScript or C# for custom rules and integrations.
• Familiarity with SQL databases and data mapping.
• Experience in testing, debugging, deployment, and production troubleshooting.

Good to Have

• Experience with ABBYY FlexiCapture or FlexiLayout.
• Exposure to UiPath, Power Automate, or other RPA platforms.
• Experience with invoice processing, purchase orders, contracts, or other business documents.
• Knowledge of SAP, ServiceNow, or other enterprise systems.
• Abbyy certification
