Ab Initio Developer

Responsibilities :

Design, develop, test, and deploy ETL applications using Ab Initio. Develop and maintain Ab Initio graphs, plans, and reusable components. Work on data extraction, transformation, and loading processes from multiple source systems. Monitor and optimize ETL workflows for performance and scalability. Perform data analysis, data validation, and troubleshooting of production issues. Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements. Implement data quality checks and ensure data integrity across systems. Participate in code reviews and adhere to development best practices. Provide production support and incident resolution.

Additional Responsibilities:

Strong 3+ years experience in Ab Initio GDE (Graphical Development Environment). Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting. Understanding of Data Warehousing and ETL concepts. Knowledge of performance tuning and job optimization. Experience with file processing (XML, JSON, CSV, Fixed Width). Exposure to Control-M, Autosys, or other scheduling tools. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
