Ab Initio Developer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain ETL workflows using Ab Initio.
• Build and modify graphs, plans, and data-processing workflows using GDE.
• Develop transformations using Ab Initio components.
• Troubleshoot data processing jobs and support production execution.
• Participate in testing, deployments, scheduling, and production issue resolution.

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with Ab Initio GDE (Graphical Development Environment).
• Experience developing and modifying Ab Initio graphs and plans.
• Familiarity with data transformations, joins, lookups, aggregations, and file processing.
• Basic understanding of parallel processing and data partitioning.
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux commands and basic shell scripting.
