About this role
The candidate must know to move around the pipe`s circumference, they must transition through flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead welding positions all within a single continuous joint. Because the pipe does not move and sits at an angle, gravity pulls on the molten weld pool differently at every point of the weld, making technique and heat control critical.
