3D Graphic Designer, & Motion Graphics Video Editor

Role & responsibilities

• Edit vertical reels and shorts using 3D animation, motion graphics, text animation and sound design.
• Edit long-form educational and documentary videos using After Effects camera movements and animated visual sequences.
• Create cinematic movements such as zooms, pans, tracking shots, fly-throughs and smooth transitions.
• Build layered scenes from photographs, maps, illustrations and other assets using 3D techniques.
• Animate maps, timelines, charts, objects and diagrams to explain complex topics clearly.
• Turn scripts and Hindi voiceovers into visual sequences with strong pacing and storytelling.
• Find suitable footage, images, music and sound effects from approved sources.
• Add subtitles, titles, background music and sound effects where required.
• Maintain visual consistency across videos.

Preferred candidate profile

• Practical proficiency in Adobe After Effects.
• Ability to work with After Effects 3D cameras, 3D layers, null objects, parenting and keyframe animation.
• Understanding of smooth camera movement, easing, the Graph Editor, motion blur and depth of field.
• Ability to create and animate 3D scenes
• Understanding of composition, lighting, perspective, timing and visual depth.
• Understanding of Hindi scripts and voiceovers.
• Good judgement about pacing, viewer attention and when animation helps explain a topic.
• Ability to follow a brief, communicate progress and meet agreed deadlines.
