2D Designer

Role & responsibilities

• Prepare accurate 2D drawings, layouts, plans, elevations, sections, and detailed working drawings.
• Create and modify drawings using AutoCAD 2D as per project requirements.
• Develop drawings for commercial interiors, furniture, fixtures, and related projects.
• Prepare detailed drawings with proper dimensions, specifications, materials, and annotations.
• Coordinate with Design, Project, Production, Site, and Engineering teams.
• Incorporate design changes and revisions based on project/site requirements.
• Review drawings for accuracy, measurements, dimensions, and technical feasibility.
• Prepare shop drawings and production drawings for manufacturing/execution.
• Ensure drawings are completed within the required project timelines.
• Maintain proper drawing revisions, records, and documentation.
• Support the site and production teams by resolving drawing-related queries.
• Ensure all drawings follow company standards and project specifications.

Preferred candidate profile

• 0 to 5 years of relevant experience as a 2D Designer in the Commercial / Interior / Furniture / Manufacturing industry.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and technical drawing preparation.
• Good knowledge of layouts, elevations, sections, dimensions, and shop drawings.
• Ability to understand design concepts and convert them into accurate working drawings.
• Experience in preparing production and installation drawings is preferred.
• Good understanding of materials, measurements, and manufacturing requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good coordination skills with Design, Production, Project, and Site teams.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Qualification: Diploma / Degree in Civil, Interior Design, Architecture, Mechanical, or a related field preferred.
